SINGLE - The most popular bet, normally a win bet on one selection.
EACH-WAY - This is in fact two bets in one, one portion on the win other on the place.
DOUBLE - Consists of one bet involving two selections. Both selections must be successful to get a return.
TREBLE - Consists of one bet involving three selections. All three selections must be successful to get a return.
ACCUMULATOR - Consists of one bet involving four or more selections.
TRIXIE - Consists of 4 bets involving 3 selections. The bet is 3 doubles and 1 treble.
PATENT - Consists of 7 bets involving 3 selections. The bet includes a single on each selection, plus 3 doubles, 1 treble.
YANKEE - Consists of 11 bets involving 4 selections. The bet includes 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and a four timer.
CANADIAN (super yankee) - Same as a Yankee (above) but now you also have 4 singles total 15 bets.
LUCKY 15 - A Lucky 15 accumulator is a multiple bet consisting of 15 bets involving 4 selections in different events. The bet includes 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and the fourfold accumulator.
LUCKY 31 - A Lucky 31 accumulator is a multiple bet consisting of 31 bets involving 5 selections in different events. The bet includes 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfolds, and the fivefold accumulator.
LUCKY 63 - A Lucky 63 accumulator is a multiple bet consisting of 63 bets involving 6 selections in different events. The bet includes 6 singles, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 fourfolds, 6 fivefolds and the sixfold accumulator.
HEINZ - Consists of 57 bets involving 6 selections. The bet includes 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 fourfolds, 6 fivefolds, and a six-timer.
SUPER HEINZ - Consists of 120 bets involving 7 selections. The bet includes 21 doubles, 35 tebles, 53 fourfolds, 21 fivefolds, 7 sixfolds, and a seven-timer.
GOLIATH - Consists of 247 bets involving 8 selections. The bet includes 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 fourfolds, 56 fivefolds, 28 sixfolds, 8 severnfolds and an eight-timer.
FORECAST - To predict the first two horses in a race. The horses must finish in the order you predict for your bet to win. See also reverse forecast, where you cover first and second either way round.
ANTE POST - This refers to wagers struck at quoted prices on named selections in advance of the day of a major event.
